This is a great way to keep hydrated and cool during a work out. The Lemon Oil will detox your system and help give you the boost you will need.
I personally use these separate, have not used them together yet. But I am definitely going to try this recipe today.
I use Lemon in my water throughout the day to help keep my energy levels up enough to get through work. I also enjoy the way that it has made me feel, I don’t feel so weighed down by all the chemicals that I have eaten.
The Peppermint I have used on exceptionally hot and humid days here in Georgia, to help keep my body cool; I have also used this a few times on my little girl when she has come down with a fever and with in 10 minutes her temperature came down, it didn’t come down much but it came done enough and about 30 minutes later I applied a few more drops to the bottoms of her feet and on the back of her neck. I did this several times through out the day and by morning her fever was gone.
These oils are truly amazing and I wish I would have discovered them sooner. I prefer using these on my child over giving them over-the-counter medicine that doesn’t ever seem to work.
EASY PEASY LAVENDER LOTION
1/3 cup coconut oil
1 tbsp beeswax
5 drops lavender essential oil
Melt the coconut oil and beeswax together in a double boiler on your stove top. (I just use a measuring cup in a saucepan of water.)
Once melted, add lavender oil and remove from heat. Let cool completely.
Using an electric beater, whip the cooled lotion. This step may be unnecessary but I find that adding a little air to the lotion provides for a smoother consistency and a better mixture.
Your lotion is ready to go! Since there is no water added to this mixture, it should be shelf stable until the expiration date of the coconut oil that you used.

dōTERRA announces its support and sponsorship of an autism support center for Utah Valley youth and families affected by autism.
Pleasant Grove, Utah—June 29, 2015—With thousands of children in Utah Valley diagnosed on the autism spectrum, dōTERRA is pleased to announce its involvement in a much-needed autism support center, planned at Utah Valley University, in Orem, Utah. The University has begun the process of securing from the Regents formal approval for the center and the building in which it will be housed.
Utah Valley has the highest rate of children diagnosed on the autism spectrum in the United States. Currently about 1 in 54 Utah Valley children live with autism and need medical, physical, social, and, as they grow up, vocational assistance in living with autism. The partners involved in creating the autism support center are looking to help provide solutions, education, and resources to children and families affected by autism.
“UVU is committed to becoming the regional hub for autism education. Our autism initiative supports community members, working professionals, students and individuals with autism,” said UVU President Matthew S. Holland. “We will soon have a dedicated structure because of the generosity of individuals and companies, like dōTERRA, who understand the urgent need for additional resources dedicated to autism. We are not going to be the university that cracks the genetic code for autism, but we can and should be the university that cracks the code for providing the best services to individuals on the autism spectrum.”
The new proposed autism center will house a preschool, an elementary classroom, two therapeutic playgrounds, a sensory garden, community rooms, and a Passage Program, where young adults with autism can enroll in noncredit, college-level classes. This program will help young adults develop job skills through classroom-to-work training. In addition, autism studies students at Utah Valley University will participate in therapeutic interventions and diagnostic sessions in designated therapy rooms.
With dōTERRA’s focus on health and wellness, and keen understanding of the how plants can be used to support the human body, sponsoring the playgrounds and sensory gardens at the center is a perfect fit. The two adjoining, shaded playgrounds will help children enhance their motor skills and engage in science exploration while they play and interact with each other. Aromatic plants will be a beautiful addition to the space and will provide an uplifting, powerful experience for children and families, while also representing what dōTERRA does.
“We are honored and excited to be involved in the creation of the UVU autism support center,” said Kirk Jowers, Vice President of Corporate Relations for dōTERRA. “The autism support center will be an important and needed resource for so many Utah families and all those affected by autism. We especially look forward to helping design and build the sensory gardens, which will add beauty to the center and provide an element of healing to all those who visit.”

We’ve all heard the commercial for Clorox Bleach, they say that if it don’t smell like bleach it is not clean. Well that smell is not the most prettiest smell and for people sensitive to it it can be a nightmare when it comes to cleaning.
Every cleaner you find on the shelves has some type of chemical in it that can be hazardous to your health and to your family’s health. These chemicals are inhaled and touched any time you use them. They find their way into your system and can cause health issues.
Do you know anyone that doesn’t enjoy cleaning their home because of the chemical smell??
Take the hazard out of your daily cleaning and replace it with a cheaper and more family and eco-friendly way to clean you home.
Want to learn new and more healthy ways to clean your home?
Below is a Recipe that if for Glass Cleaner. I have used this recipe and I love it and it is considerably cheaper than chemical cleaners and if you run out, it saves you gas money.
What You Need:
16 oz. Spray Bottle
1 1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup distilled water
8 drops of any citrus oil of your choice (could use Lemon, Lime, Grapefruit, Wild Orange, or a combination)
Add vinegar, water, and essential oil(s) to spray bottle and shake. You are ready to clean!
Breakdown of cost per drop of each citrus oil:
Lemon 15ml—————–$0.04/drop 8 drops=$0.32
Lime 15ml——————–$0.05/drop 8 drops=$0.40
Grapefruit 15ml————-$0.06/drop 8 drops=$0.48
Wild Orange 15ml———-$0.04/drop 8 drops=$0.32
Breakdown of total cost versus chemical cleaners*
1 gallon of White Vinegar————–$3.12———$0.02/ounce
1 gallon of Distilled Water**————$0.88——–$0.006/ounce
16 oz spray bottle————————$1.00——–one time purchase
doTERRA Essential Oil 15ml———–$10.00-$16.00
your initial bottle would break down like this
White Vinegar———-$0.02 x 12 ounces=$0.24
Distilled Water———$0.006 x 4 ounces=$0.024
Bottle——————–$1.00 (can get from a dollar store)
Since the bottle will be reused the price per bottle after the initial bottle will decrease by the value of the bottle.
Every bottle after the initial bottle will cost $0.58-$0.74 per bottle
The average bottle of Glass Cleaner costs $2.17-$3.12. Refills can cost $12-$17 a bottle. This may seem like a deal but by the time you add up how much you use in a month, 6 months, a year or even the next 5 years these costs add up.
what would u rather do, spend more or less on cleaning products??
I don’t know about you, but if I can get a bottle of natural cleaner cheaper I am going to go for it. Chemical cleaners as i have stated above can have effects on the health of your family, Which one would you rather choose?
I have been following internet millionaire Jeremy Schoemaker for a couple years now. I am on his newsletter and saw an email that said he was frustrated that he had sold many “how to make money online” products and even though the content was good very few people every logged in and did anything.
So he claimed not only would this be free but he would pay you for accomplish tasks. I signed up. More because I was curious to see what his angle was than anything else. The first task was drop dead simple and I instantly received a dollar and it was sent to my paypal instantly. and yet I never paid him anything.
Then I continued and went through the course now setting up my website. Then installing a theme, then installing plugins, etc etc. By the end of the 2nd level he send me $3. The course continued and I was glued.
Jeremy not only walks you through setting up everything step by step (and paying you as you accomplish the tasks, but also makes it fun awarding you belts like a karate system.
But while the money was fun and kept me going, at the end I had a great blog with all the key plugins. A decked out facebook page and a email newsletter.
